Working-out in a gym or fitness center can be intimidating
at first. If you don't know how to operate a particular piece of equipment
ask a trainer or staff member. Be careful when asking friends or other gym
members. You never know if the friendly guy helping you even knows what he's
doing. It's also possible that you are interrupting someone at a bad time
in their workout.
Don't scrimp on home equipment. It's possible to
injure yourself or exercise the wrong muscles with cheap, poorly designed
equipment. Establishing and maintaining a nutritionally balanced diet on the run can be difficult at times. When time is limited these nutritional needs are overlooked. Getting the right nutrition is especially important if you are exercising or training.
Good health includes the right balance
of nutrition and exercise. Too much of anything (including exercise
and dietary supplements) can cause problems. Always be sure to keep
things balanced.
